Commercial/Production
Production work was my true career starter as a Makeup Artist.
As you may have read in my About Me section, after graduation from college with a Theatrical degree and an added emphasis on design, Tele-Communciations and Video Production, I moved out to Los Angeles and signed with the agency MS-Management. Thru my agency and also on my on accord, I worked with many production companies in Los Angeles doing commercials and music videos. I also worked with well known photographers and companies doing makeup for corporate events and promotional materials as well as fashion shows.
Since my move from Los Angeles to the Upstate of South Carolina, I continue to do production work for commercials, corporations and even politicians including an article for People Magazine, Oprah Magazine, Women's Day Magazine, Commericals for Charter Media, the Greenville Health System and numerous small businesses, Press Conferances for BMW and Milliken and makeup for Senator's Lindsay Graham and Jim Demint. I also work frequently in catalog and magazine publications in the area (companies including Southern Tide, Beija Flor, Town Magazine among others). I am a fully mobile on location makeup and hair artist, equipped for work in any commercial, fashion or theatrical production. I will come with my own set up including makeup station, chair, table and state of the art mobile lighting system if natural light will not be available.
I also fully believe in "all hands on deck" when it comes to production work. A crew is only as strong as it's weakest link. I am happy to hold reflectors, help the models in wardrobe changes, and help carry things to and from set from holding.
In additional to makeup and hair styling, I am also equipped for wardrobe styling and maintenance when asked including a sewing kit, clips for clothing positioning and a steamer for banishing wrinkles on set. The wardrobe kit must be asked for prior to booking in order for me to bring the additional necessary items, however I'm always willing to help with these things on set.
In the event that I am not available for your production, there are many members of the Cotton Rouge & Co team that also have a background in commercial work!
