Today I wanted to share some photos I recently got from one of my past brides.  This is actually one of my brides from last fall.  I've been a little slower ad updating with new photos this year and thats something I'm really trying to fix!

This bride was one of the sweetest brides I've had!  Her personality was just so fun and vibrant and it really shows in her pictures!  All photography shown here was taken by the amazing Olivia Griffin.  You can see more photos from this beautiful wedding from Olivia's blog.
A few other shout outs to mention before i go on to the pictures and that is the coordination from Alison of Hullabaloo Events and that of Memories By McMillan who did the flowers.  I don't usually have any chatter with the florist, but as you can see in the photos the flowers are just breathtaking and I needed to give some props!

Believe it or not, but Jamie has really fine hair!  At her consultation we used extensions and kept her hair down, but in the end, she decided to put it up.  I assured her that we could actually make it look fuller by putting it UP than leaving it down with extensions.

What to do when you don't know what hair style you want for your wedding? Never fear! This is exactly what a consultation is for! Yesterday I met with one of my summer brides. She had photos (A + for her!) but the hair wasn't alike in the photos. She said she just wasn't sure what she wanted. But the photos gave me a good idea for the overall "feel" she was going for. Then we just started playing! The photo you see only shows 4 of the hairstyles we played with. We actually had numerous interpretations of the straight to the back hair style. Some higher and some lower. This is just to give you an idea of what we can do at a consult. The key is to have an idea of the style for the wedding, not specifically the hair. We knew we wanted a soft, semi loose if not messy do with a little but of sex appeal. For the makeup we knew we wanted a soft smokey eye..... But how dark? That we needed to play with and so we did. So now in a less than 2 hour consult we know exactly what we are going to do and the bride feels confident for her big day! Perfect!
